The concept of death is a difficult pill to swallow, a truth that I am not yet ready to fully accept. It looms over our lives, an unavoidable reality that we cannot escape. When our loved ones depart, the tranquility we once knew is shattered, replaced by the harsh realisation that they can never be returned to us. They shed their mortal shell, leaving behind an empty void, and I desperately attempt to preserve the memories of them within the fragile confines of my mind. However, as time passes, these cherished memories gradually fade, I try my best not to lose them, but inevitably I do.
